Operation HOPE is a nationwide non-profit that offers credit & money management workshops and one-on-one credit counseling. Representatives with Operation HOPE will be available every Tuesday in September from 11am-2pm and 4pm-6pm to offer 30 minute one-on-one financial literacy counseling.
Topics include how to improve one's credit, how to reach a financial goal, how to create a budget, and more. This will also be an opportunity to learn more about the free services Operation HOPE offers year-round. No appointment is necessary and services are first-come, first-serve. Program will be held on the 1st floor of the downtown branch.
This program is conjunction with the library's Thinking Money exhibition, created by the American Library Association (ALA) in partnership with the FINRA Investor Education Foundation. Thinking Money is on exhibit now through October 7 at the downtown branch. Thinking Money was developed by the American Library Association Public Programs Office in collaboration with the FINRA Investor Education Foundation, whose support made this exhibition possible.
