Join us each week this summer for special activities for tweens & teens, Tuesdays at 4:00 pm and Saturdays at 11:00 am at the Downtown branch.

May 24 and May 28 – Create-Your-Own Comic: Learn how to create a comic book — no staples required — and fill it up with your own story.

May 31 – Pasta Making – Step into the world of pasta! From spaghetti to bowtie to everything in between, stop by and learn the art of making pasta.

June 4 – Bursting Boba Juice Balls!Join Courtney for some food science as we learn to make bursting boba balls (like in boba tea!) from fruit juice and other drinks.

June 7 and June 11 – Spin Art: We’ll be using our spin art fan to create vibrant, neon works of art.

June 14 and June 18 – Lego Challenges: Stretch your imagination and have fun with Lego challenges or free-build your own creation.

June 21 – Ice Cream Fun: Cool off this summer with some ice cream making, minute-to-win-it games, and sprinkles!

June 25 – Bursting Boba Juice Balls!: Join Courtney for some food science as we learn to make bursting boba balls (like in boba tea!) from fruit juice and other drinks.

June 28 and July 2 – Morse Code Bracelets: Create a cool bracelet with a secret coded message!

July 5 – Book Arts: Using an assortment of papers, we’ll be creating a book that you can use as a notebook or sketchbook.

July 9 – Mandala Flower Weaving: We’ll be creating a flower from yarn and sticks to create a decorative hanging item for your room.

July 12 and July 16 – Life-Size Clue: Become a character and play a life-size game of the classic whodunit game Clue at the library!

July 19 and July 23 – Watercolor Bookmarks: Save your place with a colorful bookmark using cardstock and watercolors.

July 26 – Tiny Art: We’ll provide all the materials needed to make your own tiny masterpiece!
