What is Project BRAINY?

Project BRAINY is an six-session, neuroscience-based curriculum that enables students to build relationships and engage in interactive science learning.

THE PROBLEM

During the COVID-19 pandemic, students have experienced a significant loss of learning. The disruption of education and everyday life took a significant toll on youth mental health.

THE SOLUTION

Project BRAINY is an out-of-school curriculum that enables students to build relationships and engage in interactive, supportive, science learning.

Project BRAINY Goals:

• Increased youth engagement to
  address learning loss.
• Increased youth understanding of
  middle school science topic,
  specifically of human body systems.
• Enhanced relationships, youth voice,
  and identity.
• Increased facilitator knowledge and
  skills for integrating SED and STEM.
