August 10- Kickstart your Career after Graduation!
This program will focus on how to start your career after you graduate from high school. We will look at the resources available from the library, both physical and electronic. We will also look at the many resources available from community organizations, including a presenter from the American Job Center specializing in job search and career assistance.
September 14- Personal Finance
Guest speaker, La Tricia Schobert from the Consumer Credit Counseling Service non-profit, will be giving us helpful tips to manage our personal finances. Consumer Credit Counseling Service is a non-profit organization that provides credit counseling, debt management, budgeting, and community events and educational workshops. George Vieth and Angie House from Vieth Wealth Management will give a presentation on home ownership as well!
We will look at library resources and tools related to personal finance, and we’ll also look at community resources and organizations that can provide assistance and education regarding personal finance. We will also feature a presentation from George Vieth, a financial adviser who will talk about finances and home ownership.
