This October 7, we’re doing a Solar Eclipse Takeover for All Ages instead of our regular Blow Off Some Steam program.
All ages are invited to join in our fun activities that will get you ready for the Solar Eclipse on October 14!
We’ll have ultraviolet light demonstrations and eclipse activities, including:
- Tools to see ultraviolet light
- An experiment to see what best shields objects from ultraviolet light
- An Oreo eclipse activity
- Pin-hole projectors to help you look at the sun–safely
- Bracelets that change color when exposed to ultraviolet light
- Take home kits to make sundials and sun prints
