WaterWays: Water Exploration and Education

WaterWays will be offering Water Exploration Kits available for checkout from the Downtown Library starting this month! They will have informational tabling sessions and will also offer a fun educational program to kick off this exciting partnership on the following dates:

Wednesday 9/11 and Thursday 9/12 from 3-6 pm
 Join WaterWays to learn how scientists collect critters in our local creeks and rivers to determine whether or not they are healthy and clean. Educators can learn about the new water exploration kits that can be checked out from the main library branch. They can also pick up some environmental education curriculum books from Project WET and Project Learning Tree.
Saturday, 9/14 from 10 am-11 am
Join WaterWays to follow a drop of water along its incredible journey to create a keychain. We will also learn about common sources of water pollution and how we can prevent them. Educators can learn about the new water exploration kits that can be checked out from the main library branch. They can also pick up some environmental education curriculum books from Project WET and Project Learning Tree.
